Scout is more than a service provider – we are
a partner. We bridge the gap between organizations and Indigenous Communities, empowering companies to navigate successful project execution by actively involving and gathering valuable wisdom from Indigenous Peoples.
We use our management skills collaboratively and efficiently to execute and deliver project goals successfully. We focus on client needs, on-time completion, budget adherence, and quality outcomes—the heart of our project management approach.
We plan, coordinate, and execute various community engagement activities, such as hosting community meetings, facilitating workshops, focus groups, learning circles, and open houses, conducting surveys or one-on-one interviews, and collaborating with Elders and Knowledge Keepers. Our approach ensures voices will be heard and valued as we gather feedback to facilitate community-led input and project contributions, reducing project risk overall.
We develop workshops, conduct training seminars, provide informal mentoring, and offer tailored learning opportunities to meet specific team, department, or organizational needs.
We support grant applications through research, writing, budget development, submission, and follow-up, aiming to maximize funding potential.
We analyze policies concerning Indigenous Peoples, Businesses, and Communities. We provide strategic guidance on meaningful and practical actions that advance the Indigenous and non-Indigenous reconciliation journey.
We undertake studies to evaluate proposed projects' economic, environmental, and cultural impact, integrating inclusive and diverse perspectives for an enhanced and more accurate assessment.
We guide strategic asset management policy development and planning and perform ACRS/E-ACRS inspections to inform effective decision-making and long-term asset value.
We deliver essential municipal and civil engineering services, encompassing land development, commercial development, public works infrastructure (e.g., roads, water, wastewater, etc.), buildings, and facilities. Our focus is on building sustainable and resilient communities.
Our structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering expertise ensures the safety, stability, and efficiency of residential, commercial, institutional, and industrial buildings through design and analysis.
We provide environmental services including remediation, groundwater management, and thorough Phase 1 & 2 ESA for a healthier, sustainable future.
We verify budget and schedule compliance, build strong contractor relationships with proactive communication, and efficiently resolve complexities. We drive successful outcomes through reliable and skilled observation of construction activities and progress.
Work with Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities to develop long-term plans that reflect local values, priorities, and future goals. We support planning processes through community engagement, mapping (GIS), land use assessments, and policy development. We help guide decisions on housing, infrastructure, environment, and economic growth in a way that respects traditions and self-determination.
We conduct housing program evaluations and assessments, plan lot development, and verify projects' compliance with zoning and environmental standards. We also lead community consultations to gather input and align housing solutions with local needs. We support funding, project management, and sustainable, affordable housing design.
We work with communities and organizations to develop long-term strategies that align with their vision and goals. We focus on sustainable growth, resource management, and community- driven solutions, delivering actionable, achievable plans that reflect local values.
We have the privilege to work on a diverse list of small-medium sized projects and scopes of work in line with our underlying mission of improving Indigenous quality of life. From running workshops to managing projects, developing budgets to informal mentoring, community engagement to Indigenous procurement, Scout has continued expanding our capacity to help our partners deliver quality projects.

Committing to meaningful consultation and obtaining informed consent from Indigenous Peoples before engaging in economic development projects.
Providing equitable access to jobs, training, and education for Indigenous Peoples.
Educate management and staff on the history and rights of Indigenous Peoples.
